The Simplyhealth Group, which owns the dental payment plan provider Denplan, has bought FMC, a business that serves the dental profession. The deal was announced on 1 September 2026. The price was not disclosed.
FMC has two divisions. Dentistry OS sells software to dental practices and groups, covering compliance, HR, CPD, patient consent and marketing. FMC Media & Events runs dental journalism, including Dentistry.co.uk, as well as education and conferences.
Simplyhealth says it works with more than 4,000 UK dental practices. FMC will keep its brands, channels and day-to-day leadership, and the group plans to invest in its technology, products and events.
"The Simplyhealth Group was the clear choice," said Craig Welling, chief executive of FMC.
