Affidea agrees to buy two Alliance Medical diagnostic centres in London

The European diagnostics group is buying centres on Harley Street and in Marylebone. The price was not disclosed.

Affidea has agreed to buy two diagnostic centres in central London from Alliance Medical, one on Harley Street and one in Marylebone. The deal was announced on 15 October 2026. The price was not disclosed.

Completion is subject to the usual closing conditions and is expected at the end of October. Until then, the centres keep operating under Alliance Medical.

Affidea entered the UK in 2021 when it bought Fortius Clinic. It is also planning new London clinics at Prince of Wales Drive, with LIPS Healthcare, and at Wimbledon Quarter.

Barry Downes, chief executive of Affidea UK & Ireland, said the deal would bring its diagnostics and community care model into central London.
